Kangbashi District is a National 4A Scenic Spot featuring city proper with the theme of “leisure and resort, and it is the political and cultural center of Ordos. Kangbashi District boosts beautiful environment, fresh air, reasonable layout, and pleasant scenery. Attractions here include cultural squares, theme parks, museums, ancient sites, urban landscape lake and cultural buildings. Kangbashi District enjoys 7 theme squares, including Genghis Khan Square, Twin-horse Square, Sun Square, Mongolian Chess Square, Prairie Love Plaza, Food Plaza, and Vision Square. Besides that, Kangbashi District also has 6 major cultural buildings: Ordos International Conference and Exhibition Center, Ordos News Center, Ordos Grand Theatre, Ordos Museum, and Ordos Library; apart from that, Ordos embraces 4 theme parks: Asian Sculpture Art Theme Park, Kangbashi Central Park, Qingchunshan Park, and Prairie Arts and Culture Park. It is also where 3 major museums lie: Ordos Museum, Ordos Geological Museum, and Exhibition Hall of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Tourists can find other attractions like Eke Ovoo, Silu Village, Wulanmulun Heritage Site, Wulanmulun Landscape Lake, Ordos Wedding Park, National Unity Park, Ordos Motorsport City, and Qianting Mountain, etc.

Ordos Cashmere Industrial Tourist Attraction is located on Park Avenue in Dongsheng District, covering an area of 2,791 mu, with a total investment of 3.45 billion yuan. It is divided into east factory, west factory, office area, living quarter, and R&D center. It main functions include all-chain production system of cashmere, administration, the national R&D center of cashmere engineering and technology, product marketing and exhibition, staff life and sports entertainment. Administration area covers 35029 square meters, including administrative center, business center, sports center, cinema, exhibition hall, the World Cashmere Museum, and marketing display center. The national R&D center of cashmere engineering and technology cover an area of 16,000 square meters. It is mainly composed of three departments: testing department, R & D department and garment company studio. It has formed an integrated platform combining the research and development of cashmere products, testing, standard research, achievement transformation. promotion, personnel training, and technical exchanges. Marketing and Exhibition Center covers an area of 3000 square meters, and is the largest brand store in Ordos, showing a full range of Ordos products. It meets the needs of personal consumption, business units welfare buy, travel commemorative and other needs.

鄂尔多斯野生动物园位于鄂尔多斯市东胜区，是国家AAAA级旅游景区，总占地面积12平方公里，是我国西北地区动物种类最多、面积最大、唯一拥有国宝大熊猫的野生动物园。

Located in Dongsheng District, Ordos Wildlife Park, the National 4A-level Scenic Spot covers an area of 12 square kilometers and is the largest wildlife park in northwest China with the most diversified animal species as well as the only wildlife park in northwest China, it has the national treasure—Giant Panda.

鄂尔多斯野生动物园以“动物星球，回归自然”为主题，分为核心展示区和周边生态绿化区：核心展示区设有科普展示区、非洲大裂谷、亚洲猛兽区、雨林大冒险四大区域，开放动物展示场馆共22个31处，展示有大熊猫、长劲鹿，狮虎，大猩猩等动物1700多种，2000余头，室内展示与户外放养相结合，给游客留足与动物亲近及互动空间！

With the theme of “a planet of animal, back to nature”, and two areas as core demonstration area and surrounding ecological green area, it is divided into four parts – Education Zone, Rain Forest Zone, African Zone and Asian Zone. In the park, you can see various kinds of animals in 31 spots of 22 open demonstration zones, such as pandas, giraffes, ligers, gorillas, covering more than 1700 species with a total number exceeding 2000. A combination of indoor exhibition and outside stocking offers an adequate space for tourists to form an intimate and mutual relationship with animals.

2016年9月26日，鄂尔多斯野生动物园成功引进国宝大熊猫“七巧”与“七喜”，成为内蒙古又一张旅游新名片！

On September 26, 2016, the park successfully introduced giant pandas “Qi Qiao” and “Qi Xi”, becoming a new tourist image for Inner Mongolian tourism.

“恩格贝”为蒙古语，平安、吉祥之意。恩格贝旅游区位于鄂尔多斯市达拉特旗境内，地处中国八大沙漠之一的库布其沙漠中段北缘，总面积约30万亩，北靠黄河，居内蒙古自治区“呼-包-鄂金三角”域内。

“Engebei” in Mongolian means “peace and auspiciousness”. Located in Dalad Banner, Ordos, and the northern part of Kobq Desert, one among the eight largest deserts in China, Engebei Tourist Area covers about 300,000 mu (200 km2) and is surrounded by the Yellow River to its north while lies in the “Huhhot-Baotou-Ordos Golden Triangle” region of Inner Mongolia.  

优美景点半月湖，是在沙丘纵横的不毛之地，注入清澈的地下水，沿湖植下一棵棵绿树用来调节温度、湿度，逐渐形成的风景秀丽的景点，因形似月牙，故而取名半月湖。

There was nothing but a barren land with numerous sand dunes, however. With the introduce of the clear groundwater, and trees one by one being planted along the lake to adjust the temperature and humidity, a beautiful scenery spot is gradually formed. It is named Half Moon Lake after its shape as a half moon.

恩格贝驼园是最受小朋友们喜欢的景点，可爱的澳洲鸵鸟、鸸鹋、成年非洲鸵鸟，驼羊共同生活在一起，大小高低各不同，构成一幅独特的景观图，游人们可以近距离地与它们接触，给它们喂食，与它们拍照。恩格贝景区是内蒙古自治区首家引进驼羊用于观赏的景区。   

Engebei Camel Park is the most popular attraction among children. Lovely Australian ostrich, emu, adult African ostrich and llamas live together to constitute a unique landscape. Visitors can contact with them closely, feed them and take pictures with them. Engebei Scenic Area is the first scenic spot that has introduced llamas for viewing in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
